October 12, 2022 – Maintenance Release Notes
Up to 1 hour of downtime anticipated between 20:00 and 21:00 PT (23:00 and 24:00 ET)
New + Improved
WMS-20212 – SmartScan: Added a regular check to inform users when an updated version of SmartScan is available. Because updating the software would abort ongoing tasks and reload the application, users are notified by an "Update Available" badge in the application header, but the software update occurs automatically only when the user completes the task they're currently working on. For example, updates will happen after the user completes the current pick job, or finishes the receipt or move operation that's in-progress.
WMS-22039 – Small Parcel Suite: Provided a clean error message for a UCC128 issue where certain templates that require a GTIN14 value it was throwing a 500 error.
WMS-23527 – Manage Warehouses: As part of deactivating a warehouse, the 3PL Warehouse Manager unassigns that warehouse from all customers. This prevents errors and inconsistencies in operation when trying to modify or manage transactions for customers that are linked to an inactive warehouse.
Fixes
WMS-14445 – Find Orders: Resolved an issue when generating a pick ticket for a closed order where the system would display an error message even though the pick ticket was generated without a problem.
WMS-23413 – Find Orders: Resolved an issue where the legacy auto-batch feature (Find Orders > Batch > Auto Batch) was not disabled when the Auto-Batch feature was disabled in Admin > Settings. Note that this auto-batch option is not related to the new auto-batch that users can configure from Manage Customers.
WMS-23741 – Small Parcel Suite: Resolved an issue where users could not edit custom carriers and services under Admin > Manage Carriers.
WMS-23885 – Manage Customer: Resolved an issue related to auto-batch where creating a new customer resulted in an auto-batch error even if the auto-batch feature was disabled.
