This article guides you through troubleshooting issues with Creating Orders.

ISSUE POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Unable to create an order You may not have the necessary permissions Ensure that you have the following permission assigned to your user role: Orders Module > Edit Orders > Create and Edit orders (and Create Overallocated Orders, if needed). You may ask the Extensiv support team for assistance.
Unable to create an overallocated order
Unable to use Bill-To Contacts Your account settings are incorrect You need to have Bill-To Contacts enabled for your account under Admin > Settings. Contact support for assistance if needed.
Unable to view and/or modify order charges You may not have the necessary permissions Ensure you have the following permission assigned to your user role: Orders Module > Find Order > Order Charges > Manage Charges. Contact support for assistance if needed.
Unable to save a manually created order The order you created is empty Make sure there is at least one line item allocated in the order before saving it.
