Managing Payments in Your Merchant Account

This article walks you through how to view and manage your payments once your Merchant Account has been set up. 

Before you begin

If you have not yet configured your Merchant Account, please please review and follow the steps in the Merchant Accounts Setup guide

Once you have set up your merchant account, you can confirm set up is complete and your Stripe connection in verify by the notice in the Merchant Acct tab displaying Your merchant account is fully set up.

Using the Payments module

Once your merchant account is set up, you can view data within the Payments module.
 


The Payments module includes two main sections: RECEIVED and PAID OUT. By default, you will land on the RECEIVED tab. 

Received payments

The Received tab displays a running list of all payments, including Date, Status, Sender, and Amount. 

Filtering payments

Use the filter options to refine results. Multiple filters can be used at the same time. 

Exporting payments

There are two different report exports available within the Payments Tab. The 1st (blue export button) allows you to export a report of the Stripe specific data. The 2nd (gray export button) allows you to export a report of the Extensiv specific data.

 

Exporting Stripe Data

To export the Stripe specific data,

  1. Click on the Blue Export button in the top right corner of the table.
  2. When exporting you will have the option to select your specified date range. Additionally you will be able to customize the columns that appear on the export.                                                                                                                      

Exporting Extensiv Data

To export the Stripe specific data,

  1. Click on the Gray Export button just above the top right corner of the table.
  2. When exporting you will have the option to export a report of payments or disputes. Additionally you will be able to customize date range of your export file, or select all to export all available transactions.

 

The Paid Out tab operates in a similar manner to the Received tab. In Paid Out you will be able to see a record of all the payouts you have made to your connected bank account. Filtering and Export functionality works the same way within Paid Out as it does in its Received counterpart.

Managing payout settings

To manage your payout settings, click on See Details in the top right corner of the table in the Paid Out tab. Here you will be able to see information on your balances, add or withdraw funds, and update your payout settings.
