Best Practices: Avoiding Webhooks for Billing in 3PL Warehouse Manager

This article is about the Billing Manager app, not the Billing Wizard in 3PL Warehouse Manager. To learn about the Billing Wizard, please refer to the articles in the Billing Setup.

 

This article explains why it is not recommended to set up webhooks exclusively for billing purposes in 3PL Warehouse Manager when using Billing Manager as your billing system.

Problem

There have been several instances where webhook configurations were modified by 3PLs resulting in charges not populating in Billing Manager.

Resolution

Do not make any changes to billing details. Extensiv intends to remove that section of the UI to prevent you from making changes to it.
