WavePickScanTote Setting

WavePickScanTote is a setting that enforces behavior related to Advanced Wave Picking when enabled.

Default Behavior

The default behavior for an Advanced Wave Pick, which required Pick Carts with Totes, is a visual reference in mobile that tells a picker which tote to place an item into while picking.

Enabling Setting Behavior

When enabled, the WavePickScanTote setting will enforce scanning of a tote's barcode before entering in a picked quantity on an Advanced Wave Pick rather than simply displaying a visual reference to it. This setting adds an additional step to the overall process but verifies that the tote that you selected is correct.

Once the tote has been scanned the remaining actions needed to finish the Advanced Wave with Totes match that of the default behavior.
