Wave Pick Modes

Wave Pick Modes

The Extensiv Warehouse Manager Wave Picking system allows for multiple types of wave picking modes to meet the needs of different types of warehouse operations. These modes range from a simple wave to advanced waves using pick carts and totes.

There are two types of waves that can be created, Single Wave and Advanced Waves.

Single Wave

It is is a one-off wave that anyone can pick. By creating a single wave, the orders are grouped together into a wave to be picked with a cart. Additional orders can be added to the wave if the wave has not been completed.

Advanced Wave

It allows for more control over the creation of the wave. You can specify who will pick, how the work will be split up, and if the orders need to be organized a specific way on the pick cart. The Advanced Wave can also be saved as a template that can be used again.
