What is Extensiv AI?

Extensiv AI is a conversational assistant built into Extensiv. Ask a question in plain language and get instant answers — in your preferred language — drawn from three sources: Extensiv's Help Center, your live warehouse data, and your own uploaded documents like SOPs and training materials. It reduces support tickets, speeds up onboarding, and gives your team 24/7 operational guidance.

You can access Extensiv AI in Hub and through the Extensiv AI mobile app for iOS and Android.

What You Can Ask

Extensiv AI operates in two modes:

Knowledge mode answers process and how-to questions using the Extensiv Help Center and your Internal Knowledge Base.

Data mode answers operational questions using your live WMS data across these domains:

Domain

Best For

Orders Order counts, status, dates, shipment status, order age, allocation
Inventory On-hand and available quantities, SKU availability, expiration dates
Receipts Inbound receiving, receipt status, expected vs received dates
Returns Return records and status
Purchase Orders PO tracking, expected receipt dates
Packages Tracking numbers, labels, dimensions, weight
Customers Customer lists, IDs, names
Warehouses / Facilities Facility information, warehouse IDs
Carriers* Carrier and shipping service lookups

*Carrier data and order value totals are available to 3PL operator users only and are not shown to your customers' users.

Note: Data mode and custom knowledge uploads are included in paid Extensiv AI plans. To upgrade your plan, contact your Customer Success Manager.

Key Capabilities

  • Custom knowledge: Upload SOPs, training materials, and operational documents, with admin controls to manage visibility by warehouse or customer. See Managing Your Knowledge Base.
  • Multilingual: Ask questions and receive answers in your preferred language. The chat interface itself is available in nine languages.
  • Works where you work: Available in Hub and as a standalone mobile app — no new tools or logins.

Why Teams Use It

  • Self-service answers in seconds instead of running reports or filing support tickets
  • Faster onboarding — new staff can ask questions against your SOPs and training docs directly
  • 24/7 availability in your team's language

Current Limitations

  • Read-only: Extensiv AI retrieves and summarizes data but can't create, edit, or delete records yet.
  • Session-based history: Chat history clears when you close your browser.
  • WMS scope: Purpose-built for 3PL Warehouse Manager. Order Management and Integration Management questions are outside its current scope, as is billing data.
  • Not a support channel: Extensiv AI can't create or track support tickets. To report bugs or issues, contact the Extensiv Support team.
