Understanding the Prompts Library

0.9 min read

| June 14, 2026

The Prompts Library is a curated set of ready-made questions, organized by topic, that you can use as-is or adapt. It's the fastest way to see what Extensiv AI can do and learn how to phrase effective questions.

The library contains prompts built by Extensiv and custom prompts created by your organization. Your admin may have already assigned you a starting set of Favorites — see Managing the Prompts Library for how admins curate these.

Data mode, custom knowledge uploads, and the Prompts Library are included in paid Extensiv AI plans. To upgrade your plan, contact your Customer Success Manager.

Using the Prompts Library

1. Click the sparkle icon in the top-right of the Hub navigation bar to open the chat panel.

5. From your Favorites list, click a prompt to load it into the input field. Replace any placeholder values — like [CUSTOMER NAME] or [ORDER NUMBER] — with real values, then send.
