Creating Billing Manager Charge Adjustments in 3PL Warehouse Manager
This feature is currently only available in Extensiv's Sandbox.
This article explains how to create, review, and submit charge adjustments in 3PL Warehouse Manager. The Charge Adjustments feature allows you to create charges that sync directly with Billing Manager. You can create either predefined charges using charges pulled from Billing Manager or manually create charges.
This feature only works with Billing Manager enabled. 3PL Warehouse Manager will load the classic charge adjustments page if you don’t have Billing Manager enabled.
Navigating to the Charge Adjustments page
- From the left navigation menu, select Customers > Charge Adjustments.
- Select the relevant ‘Customer’ and ‘Warehouse’ from the dropdown menus.
- Select whether you want to ‘Select a Predefined Rate’ or ‘Add a Manual charge’.
- Click Next.
Creating a charge adjustment from a predefined rate
3PL Warehouse Manager uses a list of predefined rates from Billing Manager.
- Select a rate from the grid. You can use the ‘Rate Name’ and ‘Category’ filters to find a specific rate.
- Click Next.
- Review the details of the predefined rate and enter the ‘Quantity’ for the charge adjustment. You can optionally add a Memo/Note to provide more details and context for the charge adjustment.
- Review all the information is correct before submitting the charge adjustment. You won’t be able to review or edit it in 3PL Warehouse Manager once it’s submitted to Billing Manager.
- Click Submit to send the charge to Billing Manager.
- You can click + Create another charge to select another charge adjustment.
Creating a manual charge
Manual charges let you define custom charge details instead of selecting a predefined rate.
- Fill out the ‘Add Charge Details’ fields. Fields with an asterisk are required to complete the adjustment.
- Select Submit to review the charge.
- Review all the information is correct before submitting the charge adjustment. You won’t be able to review or edit it in 3PL Warehouse Manager once it’s submitted to Billing Manager.
- Click Submit to send the charge to Billing Manager.
- You can click + Create another charge to select another charge adjustment.
