Before turning on your Integration, answer these questions to configure your setup
These are the most common errors we encounter. By answering these questions, it will save you time and effort in setting up your connection properly.
1) How far back do you want Extensiv Integration Management to pull orders from the shopping cart?
The Earliest Order Date setting determines how far back the Integration Management will pull orders for the first time the Order Download is turned on for a shopping cart. It's important to get it correct up-front.
You'll find this setting towards the bottom of the New Cart and Edit Cart pages:
Carts > Select Cart > Edit Setup > General Order Options
After the Order Download is turned on for the first time, Integration Management uses a sliding window to pull orders that search for a particular time range and won't go back to this Earliest Date Range again.
2) Do the SKUs in your Shopping Cart match your WMS exactly (1 to 1)?
Example: You have a Cart connected to a 3PL via Integration Management.
Inside the Cart, you have SKU 12345. Is there a corresponding 3PL SKU 12345?
a) If so, these SKUs are considered 1-1, and no mapping is needed, you're good to go!
b) If the SKUs do not match up between systems, you need to use Product Aliases so we can translate them for you.
3) Do you want the Integration Management to pull all SKUs from your Shopping Carts? Is your warehouse fulfilling all SKUs or only certain SKUs?
Example: You have 2 different warehouses fulfilling SKUs. You only want Integration Management to grab 2SKUs from orders, to be fulfilled by one of the warehouses. The rest of the SKUs will be routed to the other warehouse for fulfillment.
With this Whitelist Item Filter list, Integration Management will only pull these 2 SKUs from orders and will ignore everything else.
On the flip side, if you set this up as a Blacklist Item Filter list, Integration Management would igSKUsthese 2 SKUs from orders but would pull everything else.
Use whichever list is easier for you to maintain. They are exclusive, you cannot use both a whitelist and a blacklist.
4) Do you want Integration Management to pull in all orders from your Shopping Carts?
Example: You have 2 warehouses fulfilling orders. You only want Integration Management to pull orders being shipped to 3 states (CA, AZ, NV) to be sent to Warehouse #1 for fulfillment. Warehouse #2 will fulfill orders for the other 47 states.
In this example filter, Integration Management will only pull orders that are being shipped to California, Arizona, or Nevada. Integration Management will ignore all other orders.
If you change the Type filter to "restricted", it will have the opposite effect. Integration Management will pull all orders in, except for orders being shipped to California, Arizona, or Nevada
5) Does your WMS use Ship Codes?
a) If so, you will need to use Ship Method Mapping
Otherwise, whatever ship code comes from the shopping cart will be forwarded to your WMS as-is.
