This article answers your frequently asked questions about the marketplace, and the profile builder process.

 


 

What is the Extensiv Fulfillment Marketplace?

The Extensiv Fulfillment Marketplace is an online platform accessible directly from our Extensiv.com website, that is designed to connect brands with reliable and qualified 3PL providers. Brands can search for providers based on their specific needs and receive direct quotes from interested companies. 3PLs can create detailed company profiles within Extensiv Hub using our Fulfillment Marketplace profile builder, highlighting their services, expertise, and unique offerings.

 

What is the Fulfillment Marketplace profile builder?

The Fulfillment Marketplace Profile Builder is a feature within Extensiv Hub that empowers 3PLs to create a profile on Extensiv’s platform. Think of it as updating your LinkedIn profile, but tailored specifically for logistics. The profile builder walks you through each step, allowing you to provide essential details about your services, facilities, technology, team, and more. Plus, it offers helpful tips and templates to ensure your profile stands out as informative and engaging.

 

Is the Extensiv Fulfillment Marketplace generally available for Extensiv customers?

Yes, the Extensiv Fulfillment Marketplace profile builder is now available to all Extensiv customers.  

 

How do I access the Fulfillment Marketplace profile builder within Extensiv Hub?

  1. Log in to your Extensiv account using your email address and password.
     
  2. On the main dashboard, locate and click the "Fulfillment Marketplace" tile.

 

I don't see the Fulfillment Marketplace tile in my Extensiv Hub. What should I do?

If you don't see the tile within Extensiv,  it's possible that you may not have the necessary permissions to access the marketplace or you don't have product access. Please contact your system administrator or Extensiv support to ensure your account is properly configured.

 

I'm getting a "permission error" when trying to update my Fulfillment Marketplace profile. What should I do?

This error message indicates that your user role doesn't have the required permissions to update the marketplace. Here are the steps to resolve this:

Check User Role:

  1. From the Hub dashboard page, click on "Roles" in the left navigation menu. 
  2. Click your specific role from the list of available roles.
  3. Verify that the "Fulfillment Marketplace Admin Access" permission is enabled for your role.
  4. If not, contact your system administrator to assign the necessary permissions to your role or if you have admin access add the permission to the role.

What happens after I submit my profile?

Your profile will be reviewed by our team to ensure it meets our quality standards and accurately represents your company. We'll provide feedback if any adjustments are needed. Once approved, your profile will be published on the marketplace, making it visible to potential customers.

 

What can I expect during the review process?

The review process typically takes 3-5 business days. We'll evaluate your profile based on completeness, accuracy, clarity, and adherence to our guidelines. We'll communicate with you if any changes are required and provide support to ensure your profile shines.

 

What happens after my Fulfillment Marketplace profile is approved?

Congratulations! Once your profile has been reviewed and approved by our team, it will be published and made visible to potential brands and 3PL customers on our 3PL Directory.  

You can expect to receive email notifications when prospects request quotes.

 

What happens after a prospect submits a request for a quote through my profile on the Fulfillment Marketplace?

You'll instantly receive an email with the prospect details, that include the following information: 

  • Contact details: This includes the prospect's company name, industry  and contact information. 
  • Business needs: You'll gain valuable insights into their fulfillment requirements, such as estimated monthly order volume, and SKU count. 
  • Additional information: If the prospect, when through our Solution Finder, the email will also include  additional details the prospect provided, such as current fulfillment strategy and pain points, preferred warehouse region location, and desired timelines.

To provide exemplary customer service, we recommend responding within 24 hours. Timely responsiveness showcases your professionalism and commitment to customer service, setting you apart from the competition.
