Creating an FBA Prep Carton Label with Standard Tiered Fee

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to create an FBA Prep Carton Label with Standard Tiered Fee.
- Navigate to Rates on the left navigation menu.Â
- Next, select Rate List.Â
- Then, click + Create Rate in the upper right corner.Â
- On the Create New Rate window, select the following options as shown below.
Activity > Auto > Smart Rate > Tiered Rate
 - Afterwards, click Continue.Â
- Provide some basic details such as Rate Name, Rate Description, and Charge Label.
- Select Shipping for the Transaction Type and Special Charges for the Charge Category.
- Click Continue.
- On the Charge Condition section, select the following for each field:
Conditional Field: SKU
Operator: contains
Conditional Value: ‘FN’
For this particular scenario, we will be using FN as the conditional value.
- Then, click Next.
- On the Charge Method section, select the following for each field:
Charge Type: Flat
Counting Unit: Packaging Units
Calculate By: Count Less Other UOMsCount Less Other Unit of Measures (UOMs) Pre-Condition

- Â Select the Standard Tiering option in the Tiers section. Then, click Next.Â
- Set the number of units and specify the charge amount for each tier.Â
In the example below, 5 or fewer units will be charged at $1 per unit; 6 to 10 units will incur a charge of $0.75 per unit, and for more than 10 units, the system will apply a charge of $0.50 per unit.
- Then, click Next. There's no need to add a condition for this scenario.
- On the Rate-Level Rules section, you can click Skip.Â
- On the Would you like to save this rate window, click Yes, Save.
-  You will get a message stating ‘Complete.’  On the same window, there is a prompt asking if you would like to add this to a rate sheet. Select Yes or No.
