Understanding the Use of Movable Units as Counting Units in Rate Creation

This article is about the Billing Manager app, not the Billing Wizard in 3PL Warehouse Manager. To learn about the Billing Wizard, please refer to the articles in the Billing Setup.

 

This article explains the proper usage of the Movable Unit as the counting unit in rate creation.

Items Units Of Measure in 3PL Warehouse Manager must have a Movable Unit Quantity defined to utilize the “Movable Units” Counting Unit in Billing Manager. 

To confirm this setup, follow below steps.

  1. Launch 3PL Warehouse Manager
  2. Click Items on the left navigation menu. Then, select Manage Items.
  3. Select the desired SKU and click Edit.
  4. Click the Units of Measure tab and look for the Movable Unit Section. 
  5. Set the quantity for the movable unit as shown above.
