|How to get started with Amazon FBA on the Send to Amazon page
Send to Amazon is a streamlined shipment creation workflow in Amazon Seller Central with simplified steps that saves you time when you replenish inventory. Create your shipments either by adding products from the Send to Amazon page or by uploading the list of products using an Excel spreadsheet.
All new FBA shipments must be created either in Send to Amazon tool, or through the Selling Partner.
- Generate the FBA Fulfillment report by navigating to Analytics > Inventory > FBA Fulfillment.
This report will help you identify which products need inventory on Amazon and show the current inventory levels. - Log in to Amazon Seller Central and follow the six steps outlined below. This will create a shipment plan and a Plan ID.
- Choose inventory to send
- Confirm shipping
- Print box labels
- Confirm carrier and pallet information (for pallet shipments only)
- Print pallet labels (for pallet shipments with an Amazon partnered carrier only)
-
Tracking details (for small parcel and pallet shipments not using an Amazon partnered carrier)
Once a shipment is created in Amazon Seller Central, it will automatically sync with Extensiv Order Management. Then, you'll be ready to create a Stock Transfer Order.
-
Create Stock Transfer Order in Extensiv Order Management.
The easier and preferred method to create a Stock Transfer Order is through the Inventory module, as it will simply copy the data captured from the shipment initiated in Seller Central. The other method is manual creation of Stock Transfer Order through Orders module.
Option 1 - Create Stock Transfer Order through the Inventory module
- Navigate to INVENTORY > TRANSFERS.
- Select the shipment initiated in Seller Central.
- Click CREATE STOCK TRANSFER ORDER.
- Enter the Shipment ID in the Order Number field.
- Select your preferred warehouse in the Source Warehouse field.
- Optional: Select ‘Create Stock Transfer Order without FBA shipment items that have unconfigured product listings. If product listings are not properly set on Extensiv Order Management, then FBA shipment items associated with those listings will not be created in the Stock Transfer Order.’
In case of existing External Shipment ID, you can select ‘Create Stock Transfer Order with duplicated External Shipment ID’ to accept creation of STO with a duplicate external shipment ID.

- Click CREATE STOCK TRANSFER ORDER.
A confirmation will appear on the upper right corner of the page.
Once the Stock Transfer Order is received in Seller Central, it will automatically sync with Extensiv Order Management.
Option 2 - Create Stock Transfer Order through the Orders module (Manual)
- Select your preferred warehouse in the Eligible Source Warehouse field.
-
Select the appropriate Amazon Distribution Center in the Eligible Destination Warehouses field. Then, click CONTINUE.
- Add the items and quantities you wish to transfer from the source warehouse to the destination warehouse in the New Cross-Warehouse Stock Transfer Order window.
-
Add the Shipment ID from Amazon Seller Central in the Order # field. Then, click Save.

-
Verify the address for the shipment in the Basic Info tab.
-
Fill in the Shipping section in the Processing tab. Then, click Save.

Once the stock transfer has been shipped or marked as shipped, it'll move to the Shipped status in the Orders module.
-
Go to the Inventory module and click on the Transfers tab to receive the stock transfer.
-
Add a date to the Received field and select the checkbox for Receive in the Receiving for Stock Transfer Order window. Then, click SUBMIT.
