Wifi Setup

1. Click the Settings Icon at the bottom of the home screen on device
2. Turn on WiFi if not enabled already
3. Tap the WiFi section of the settings list
4. You should see a list of available wireless networks in range. Tap on the one that you’d like to connect to.
5. Enter WiFi password (if applicable)
6. The wireless network in the list should now say ‘connected’ underneath. If not, please verify your WiFi password/
    

Downloading / Installing Warehouse Manager App

1. Open the web browser on the device and navigate to dl.scoutsft.com
2. Click the Android App APK Download Link
3. In the upper left-hand corner of the screen, swipe down the down arrow icon (downloads icon). Alternatively, navigate to the downloads section in the apps list on the device
4. Tap on ‘scoutSplashScreen.apk’ file
5. You will be prompted with a ‘Do you want to install this application?’ message. Click Install at the bottom of the page
6. The Warehouse Manager app should now be available in your apps list. You can tap and hold the app icon to drag it to the desktop
    

Required Settings Changes

1. Click the Settings Icon at the bottom of the home screen on device
2. Scroll to the bottom of the settings list and tap Scanner Settings
3. Tap on Wedge
4. Ensure the following settings are checked:
   1. Enable Keyboard Wedge
   2. Uncheck Keyboard wedge only on focus
5. Tap back to Scanner Settings main page
6. Tap Notification section
