3PL Warehouse Manager
Cross-Customer Pick Jobs: Improve your picking workflows with a new setting that allows you to create pick jobs that contain orders from more than one customer. Learn more about setting up cross-customer pick jobs in our help article.
Eliminate Release Downtime: We have updated our code base to eliminate the need for downtime when releasing updates for any of the "Classic" pages and functionality in 3PL Warehouse Manager. This change will significantly benefit those with round-the-clock operations and those with warehouses outside of North America. Note that this change does not eliminate the need for occasional downtime releases related to database updates, server hardware/software upgrades, etc. However, it does mean that going forward, our standard release will no longer disrupt ongoing use of 3PL Warehouse Manager.
Webhooks: We’ve added the following fields at the root of webhook payloads:
- EventDatetimeUtc
- WarehouseTransactionEventId
- CreateDatetimeUtc
Important note that EventDatetimeUtc will always contain the same value as the existing DateTime field. DateTime will be deprecated in July 2026, so you should switch to using EventDatetimeUtc before then.
WarehouseTransactionEventId and CreateDatetimeUtc exist solely for troubleshooting purposes and can be effectively ignored during webhook consumption.
Read more about our webhook payloads here.
Billing Details Webhooks: Updated the "Configure Webhooks Notifications" screen to hide the "Billing Details" as a Resource Option if the 3PL is using Billing Manager, for which this option isn't supported.
Manage Items: We now display a warning when saving changes to an existing item if those changes include modifications to any settings in the Units of Measure tab. These kinds of changes can affect inventory quantity calculations for existing inventory, which might cause inaccurate inventory data that will persist until all inventory received prior to the change is fully depleted.
Master Pick Tickets: The ability to print master pick tickets from the Find Orders page is now disabled if the user has selected more than 10,000 orders in the grid. This limitation is necessary to protect the SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) infrastructure responsible for generating the master pick ticket, which is a shared resource across all 3PL Warehouse Manager customers.
SmartScan Receipts: Quickly search and select SKUs without needing to scan barcodes using our new intelligent SKU lookup for inventory receipt workflows.
SmartScan Labels: Added support for the following additional variables when creating custom label templates for SmartScan: FacilityName, ReceiveDate, SkuDescription. The variables can be used to add additional data to your movable unit labels. Note that the ReceiveDate is the date the transaction was confirmed, so if you want to print that value on your labels, print from the Lookup module after the receipt has been confirmed.
Small Parcel Suite
Require Scan to Pack: Ensures better fulfillment accuracy by improving existing functionality around requiring users to scan each line item on an order when packing in the pack and ship screen. Read about how to use this feature here.
