|Important cancellation timing note
Cancellation availability depends on both warehouse configuration and how far an order has progressed in the fulfillment workflow. Once picking or shipping actions have begun, cancellations may no longer be accepted.
Overview
Cancel Order in WMS allows Extensiv Integration Management to submit a cancellation request for an order that has already been sent to your WMS. This feature enables you to manually trigger an order cancellation directly within Integration Management.
Cancellation timing and warehouse cutoffs
Cancellation requests are subject to warehouse operational cutoffs and workflow timing. Key behaviors include:
- Once an order enters a pick batch, operational cancellation is usually no longer possible.
- Some WMS systems may still accept API‑based cancellations until a label has been printed or tracking information has been added.
- API cancellations require OrderWrite credentials to be enabled.
- If an order is already marked as Complete in the WMS, cancellation logic may not be triggered.

Automatic cancellation
This feature also will automatically attempt to cancel orders in the WMS if a cancellation is detected in one of these supported Shopping Carts: Order Cancel Download
