Setting Up Vend

Required parameters

  • Vend URL
    • URL Format: https://<store_name>.retail.lightspeed.app

Step-by-step guide

  1. First, obtain your Vend URL.
  2. Launch Integration Management from Extensiv Hub.
  3. Click on Carts, then click on +New Setup.
  4. Select Lightspeed X-Series (Vend) from the list.
  5. Click Grant Us API Access in Integration Management.
     

    If you don't have login access, click Share Setup Link, enter the client's email, then click Save. The client will receive a setup email and can follow the instructions outlined in Cart Setup Share.

     
  6. Enter your Vend URL and click Next.
  7. Once logged in, select Approve Installation towards the bottom of the page, which lists the permissions the Integration Manager app requires. You will then be taken back to Integration Management.  After a few seconds you should see Successful Authorization display on the screen.
  8. Scroll to the bottom and Test the connection.
  9. Once done testing, click OK to save the connection.

Cart settings

Required Outlet Name

Integration Manager will only sync orders and inventory with the given Outlet in Vend. Please go to your Vend Setting page, then click on Outlets and Registers to obtain your Outlet list.

To load orders from multiple Vend Outlets, you will need to setup each Outlet as a unique cart in Integration Manager, and create a new Vend Access Token for each one.
