Setting Up TikTok
1.4 min read
|This article explains what the TikTok connection in Extensiv Integration Management syncs, what you need before you set it up, and how to complete the connection.
Supported functions
This connection allows for the following information to be synced:
- Orders from TikTok to Extensiv Integration Management
- Inventory numbers from Extensiv Integration Management to TikTok
- Shipment tracking from Extensiv Integration Management to TikTok
What this connection syncs
Each of these syncing options and configuration guidelines is further detailed below.
Orders
This connection passes TikTok Invoices as Orders. It can also be configured to filter specific status types when passing orders.
For orders to properly sync, each product on the order/invoice must contain a SKU. Even if line items in TikTok are already fulfilled, they still need a matching SKU in your order destination.
In addition, you will need to select a warehouse and the shop that is authorized.
Inventory (optional)
If enabled, available inventory quantities from Integration Management update the available quantities shown in TikTok. Similar to order syncing, products must have SKUs configured to sync inventory numbers and these SKUs must exist in both Extensiv and TikTok.
Required parameters
- Warehouse
Other adjustable parameters are:
- Order Status: The default status of the orders to load.
- Shop Cipher: This value is the identifier of the authorized shop; it will be auto-populated once you click on Authorize.
- Warehouse: The warehouse that we will pull orders from and sync inventory to in TikTok. You can add or remove warehouses in your TikTok account.
Workflow

Step-by-step guide
- Open Integration Management.
- Go to Carts and select + New Setup.

- Select Tiktok from the list.
- Click Grant Us API Access on the New Titktok Setup page.
If you don't have login access, click Share Setup Link, enter the client's email, and click Save. They will receive a setup email. Open Cart Setup Share for the instructions to be followed by the client.
- Follow the authorization process, and select the region and the store to authorize on the Tiktok Shop Seller Central window.
- Fill out the rest of the settings on the page and click OK. You can also click Test first to verify that everything is correct.
The Shop Cipher and Warehouse settings in Integration Management will populate after you authorize and save the connection for the first time. Once saved, click Edit Setup to revisit the TikTok cart settings and select or update these options.
