May 25, 2022 – Feature Release Notes
Up to 1 hour of downtime anticipated between 20:00 and 21:00 PT (23:00 and 24:00 ET)
New + Improved
WMS-21243 – SmartScan (Idea #158420): Updated the Receipts and Pack modules to bypass the Charges page when the customer has no predefined manual charges configured and, therefore, no charges from which to select.
WMS-21399 – SmartScan Pick: Updated the pick line grid when partially picking a line to display the picked quantity and the remaining quantity as separate lines in the grid to make it easier to see what remains to be picked.
WMS-21410 – Webhooks: Updated the Webhook Scope drop-down menu on the Event Notifications page to alphabetize the display of the customer list. The "Any Customer" option remains pinned to the top of the list.
WMS-21548 – Manage Items (Idea #163265): Updated the Cycle Count Type field to allow additional values D, E, and F so that you can more accurately identify an item's cycle count needs. Note that 3PL Warehouse Manager currently supports inventory auditing by location, not SKU, but this field can be used outside the WMS to plan cycle counting activities.
To learn more about cycle count options, see Counting Inventory.
WMS-21624 – SmartScan Move: Updated the Move Movable Unit and Move Location options to be more efficient. SmartScan now puts focus on the necessary field so you can scan without tapping, as well as auto-advances from page to page to eliminate the need to tap "Next."
WMS-21794 – Per Transaction Billing: Added a new outbound billing script called "Unit Description - Carton, Inner Carton, and Each Pricing" that functions just like the existing "Carton, Inner Carton, and Each Pricing" billing script, except for it uses the Charge Setup Unit to populate the Type of Charge Unit column when the script is run using Detailed and Ultra Detailed.
Fixes
WMS-4056 – Manage Locations: Resolved an issue in the Manage Locations grid where the Type column was displaying an internally-used numeric value for the location type instead of the actual location type name (Storage, Staging, Quarantine, Pickline, Putaway Vehicle).
WMS-19855 – SmartScan Pick: Addressed an issue when scanning multi-part GS1 barcodes to increment quantity where a "Secondary UPC" in the barcode would increment the quantity by 1 instead of the number of primary units contained by the secondary packaging.
WMS-20905 – SmartScan Pick: Corrected a display issue that sometimes prevented the available pick job count from displaying on the buttons for the different pick types.
WMS-21322 – Small Parcel: Resolved an issue where the customer drop-down menu erroneously displayed inactive customers.
WMS-21586 – Webhooks: Addressed an issue where the "PickJobUserAssigned" and "PickJobUserUnassigned" messages were not triggering properly when those events occurred.
WMS-21881 – SmartScan Pick: Corrected an issue with Pick-to-Bin when typing the destination bin where pressing the < Tab > key would move focus to the Cancel button instead of accepting the bin selection, as would happen if you pressed < Enter >. This was an issue only when using SmartScan without a barcode scanner to scan the bin ID.
Note:
SmartScan is designed to look for the < Enter > key to press to advance through its workflows, not < Tab >. You should avoid using the < Tab > key when navigating through SmartScan.
