Beta opportunities
WMS-15016 – Batch Item Update: Added functionality for performing a Batch Item Update on the Manage Items page. This update decreases the possibility of timeouts, as well as makes the process smoother and more intuitive.
The enhanced Batch Item Update process is currently in a closed beta testing phase. If you're interested in gaining early access to this new functionality before we generally release it, please reach out directly to your CSM or let us know at customersuccess@3plcentral.com.
Product ideas
WMS-5256 – Manage Inventory: Product Idea #23453 – Added the ability to add a note when the Hold Reason is set to "Other".
WMS-15241 – Manage Items: Product Idea #42651 – Updated the capture of rates for recurring storage by expanding the supported number of decimal places from two to four. Any value entered with more than four decimal places is rounded to four decimal places.
General
WMS-4703 – SmartParcel: Updated the Void label functionality to include removing previously applied shipping fees for that order. Normally, this isn't necessary because existing charges will be overwritten when the order is reshipped, but there are some rare scenarios where leaving the charge data could cause problems.
WMS-10310 – Find Orders: Added 'Pick Job Assignee' as an available grid column that displays the user assigned to a pick job.
WMS-13388 – Small Parcel Suite (BETA): Added a new Settings page from which you can configure all aspects of your SmartParcel shipping environment. This new page consolidates the content of three different pages of settings used with classic version of SmartParcel (Manage Carrier Accounts, SmartParcel Settings, and Manage SmartParcel Carriers).
There is currently a known issue on the Settings page, in which the Return Address section does not include a Name or Company Name field. This oversight will be addressed in an upcoming release. In the meantime, you may need to use Customers > SmartParcel Settings to update those fields or add a new return address for a customer.
WMS-15085 – SmartParcel: Added support for up to two reference fields when creating Canada Post shipping labels. Up until recently, Canada Post did not support any reference fields, but they recently enhanced their service to allow a maximum of two reference fields when creating shipping labels.
WMS-15247 – Item Activity Detailed Report: Updated the default template to fix an issue that could, in some rare situations, prevent the MU Label data from being included in the report.
WMS-15313 – SmartParcel: Updated the Print HVP Batches dialog so the Cancel button is now more accurately labeled "Close".
Fixes
WMS-13498 – Customer Notifies: Addressed an issue where the 'Order Shipped' Customer Notifies event was failing to send customer notifications when a tracking number contained a Group Separator.
WMS-14834 – Create/Edit Receipt: Resolved an issue that would occur when importing a receipt with movable units, in which the line items would not display in the correct order if you specified to 'Split Movable Unit'.
WMS-14876 – Create/Edit Order: Corrected an issue where custom fields were displaying in an order's Summary when the 'Enable Custom Fields' setting was disabled in the customer's setup.
WMS-14964 – Find Orders: Addressed an issue where the Find Orders grid was timing out and not displaying an error message.
WMS-14971 – API: Resolved an issue with the /stocksummaries endpoint that was creating duplicate results, as well as omitting some results.
WMS-15058 – General: Corrected a display issue where the side menu is not working properly when using Safari on a small screen.
WMS-15091 – Create/Edit Order (BETA): Addressed an issue when creating or editing an order in the new beta experience, in which an error would occur after you modified the Order Line Items grid columns and attempted to save the order.
WMS-15112 – Pick Ticket: Resolved an issue with the default PickTicketExt template that could sometimes cause timeouts when generating a document with this template.
WMS-15120 – Create/Edit Order: Corrected an issue where applied filters were not displaying in the status fields at the top of the Order Line Items grid.
WMS-15177 – ShipStation API: Addressed an issue with the formatting of carrierCode values sent back to ShipStation when updating shipment information that could prevent ShipStation from properly identifying the carrier used with the shipment.
WMS-15189 – Create/Edit Order: Resolved an issue where an error would occur when editing allocations if you removed a quantity of 0 and saved without entering a new quantity.
WMS-15253 – Bill of Lading: Corrected an issue with the default Bill of Lading template that could cause timeouts when generating a document with this template.
WMS-15312 – Edit Carrier and Routing (BETA): Addressed an issue where the Tracking Number field was always disabled and removed the ability to manually enter tracking information.
