February 12, 2020 – 1.319 Major Release Notes
1 hour of downtime anticipated between 21:00 and 23:00 MST
New + Improved
WMS-3338 – Find Orders: Added support for short-shipping orders, which essentially removes all under-allocated line items from the selected orders so they can be processed and shipped with the inventory that is currently available.
Please note that "short-shipping" an order does not actually "ship and close" but instead re-configures orders so they can be processed.
WMS-7134 – Manage Users: We have updated the look-and-feel of the Manage Users page with the intentions of delivering a better user experience by providing more grid real estate, maintaining full edit functionality, and providing a more focused task view. Specific changes include the following:
- Moved the filter options to the left panel to adhere with our UI standards
- Moved the data grid to the right panel to take full advantage of the visual space available, allowing for a larger grid and a much more manageable view
- Updated the data grid to utilize more of our grid features and updated functionality
- Provided a consistent edit view, utilizing our modal view (popup dialog windows) and the associated UI standards
- New modal view keeps you focused on the task at hand and removes the possibility of editing the wrong record based on what's selected in the grid state versus the edit state
WMS-8991 – Manage Inventory: Removed the requirement for a "Warehouse" filter before loading the page. The Warehouse filter is now included as an available search filter in the left panel but is not required. If you have multiple facilities on your account, this allows you to see inventory levels across all those facilities.
3PL Central still recommends filtering the grid to less than 2000 rows, when possible, to reduce grid load times.
WMS-9557 – SmartScan: Added GS1 barcode support to the Receipts module. GS1 is a standard for self-defining barcodes, which eliminates the need for creating static barcode definitions to interpret barcodes that contain multiple data elements.
We will extend GS1 barcode support to all other SmartScan modules in the coming weeks.
WMS-9753 – SmartParcel: Added the ability to specify whether you are using an Endicia or Stamps.com account to fulfill USPS orders for a customer under Customers > SmartParcel Settings > SmartParcel Data > USPS 3rd Party.
