January 10, 2024 – Maintenance Release Notes
Up to 1 hour of downtime is anticipated between 20:00 and 21:00 PT (23:00 and 24:00 ET)
Starting this year, the case number prefix is TW instead of WMS. This is only a naming change and does not affect the release process.
Improvements
TW-26736 – SmartScan Replenishment: Added the ability to delete a move request if it's no longer needed. Note that the system does not automatically create additional move requests once the location quantity has dropped below the "Location Minimum". Move Requests should be deleted only if the location has, or will be, replenished in another way. For example, through a standard move operation, or an incoming receipt.
TW-27344 – Chat-Based Help: Removed the Chat icon from the lower left corner of the WMS UI because it is being replaced by a new Chat-Based Help feature that is integrated with Extensiv Hub.
TW-27356 – Import Receipts: Updated the error message displayed when attempting to import a receipt with no receipt parser enabled for the selected customer. Receipt parsers are configured in the Receipt Import Preferences page.
TW-28257 – Packing Materials: When creating/editing an insert definition, updated the "Order Source" field label to "IM Cart Name" and the default value to "Select a cart name". Doing this makes it clear that this filter is compatible only with Integration Manager shopping cart connections. It is not compatible with native 3PL Warehouse Manager shopping cart connections.
TW-28582 – Packing Materials: New functionality to manage "inserts" as part of the order shipping process, and to monitor inventory levels of both packaging and inserts, is now generally available. We recommend reviewing the following help articles related to this enhanced functionality:
Understanding Packing Materials
TW-28583 – Audit Inventory: Added the ability to download the results of an audit job as a CSV (comma-separated value) file. The download function is available from the Review pane of an audit job that has been fully counted.
TW-28728 – SmartScan Lookup: Updated the behavior when using Lookup with movable units and locations to make the lookup process more efficient when performing multiple lookups. After performing one lookup, SmartScan automatically selects the previously scanned value so the user can simply scan the next movable unit or location without having to manually tap into the field and delete the previously scanned value.
TW-29001 – REST: Updated the "Rels" documentation to reflect an accurate date for deprecating the customers/customeralertdefinitions API endpoint. This endpoint has been deprecated for a long time but never removed. The removal date is March 6, 2024.
Fixes
TW-27953 – Create/Edit Order: Resolved an issue where the Available column in the order item grid displayed an incorrect value when the order contained multiple line items for the same SKU.
TW-27970 – Edit Receipt: Resolved an intermittent issue when trying to edit a receipt transaction where the user would get a "Something wrong" message and the Edit Receipt page would not load.
TW-27974 – Reconfigure Movable Units: Resolved an issue when editing a movable unit where the pop-up window does not properly resize to all data.
TW-27990 – Manage Items: Resolved an issue related to items with names that included any of the following: '!', '(', ')' characters where the user would get an error message when trying to edit the item. Note that 3PL Warehouse Manager supports the following non-alphanumeric characters in item names: % & ! ( ) * = , ; #
TW-28405 – SmartScan Pick: Resolved an issue in Single Order Pick where the list of available orders to pick displayed open orders for inactive customers.
TW-28550 – Adjust Inventory: Resolved an issue when reducing inventory for a SKU via adjustment where the Select Receive Item grid would display receive items for other SKU if those SKUs had UPC values that contained the selected SKU name.
TW-28571 – SmartScan Receipts: Resolved an issue when using Receive Against ASN and adding charges to a receipt transaction where a user was required to both click the Save button to save the charges, then re-enter the Charges page and click Confirm to close the receipt from within SmartScan. If the Save button was not explicitly clicked, the updated charges were not properly saved to the transaction.
TW-28875 – Receipts: Resolved an issue when adding line items that require lot or expiration date track-bys where the SKU selector would not allow copy/paste or manually typing the SKU for quick search. The user could only select a SKU from the drop-down list.
