February 5, 2020 – Minor Release Notes
30 minutes of downtime anticipated between 21:00 and 23:00 MST
New + Improved
WMS-8987 – Create/Edit Order: In the Carrier Information section, updated the Service field to be a combo box that allows you to type in an ad-hoc value if you have entered an ad-hoc Carrier. The Service field will still offer a list of "generic" service values from which you can select, but if desired, you can now type a custom value as well.
When using a predefined carrier, you must still select from the predefined list of services for that carrier to avoid confusion in transaction-related documentation, such as Bills of Lading.
WMS-9173 – Manage Roles: Added a new permission to control access to the SmartScan Pack module, which is available under the Mobile Scanner permission set as 'Mobile Pack'.
Please note that, once released, all users with roles other than "warehouseadmin" will not be able to access the Pack module until this new permission is explicitly added to their assigned role.
WMS-9639 – Login: Updated the display and content of the error message that displays when you provide invalid login credentials.
Fixes
WMS-5277 – Find Orders: Corrected an issue where using the Carrier and Routing option would overwrite existing Warehouse Notes. Now, Warehouse and Carrier Notes are both appended to any notes that may already exist with a date stamp so users can see when those notes were added to the order.
WMS-6948 – Find Orders: Addressed an issue with Manage > Consolidate Packages, in which newly added packages were not displaying in the drop-down list until the Find Orders page was closed and re-opened, due to a browser caching issue. To resolve this, we added a new dialog for selecting the desired package type, which lets us request an updated package list at the time you want to consolidate packages.
WMS-7225 – SmartScan: Resolved an issue where negative numbers were accepted as Quantity values throughout the application.
WMS-8837 – SmartParcel: Corrected an issue where null data returned in ShipEngine rate shopping requests was causing some rate requests to fail.
WMS-9566 – SmartParcel: Removed USPS Media Mail as a potential result when rate shopping since Media Mail can only be used to ship very specific types of product and should not be available as an option while rate shopping.
WMS-9702 – Create/Edit Order: Addressed an issue where a confirmation dialog appeared upon confirming an order, asking you to confirm that you want to close the Edit Order page. This error was appearing mistakenly and is only intended to appear if you have made changes on the page and then attempt to close the page without saving.
WMS-9712 – SmartScan: Resolved an issue in the Pick module where scanning an MU label to identify inventory to pick would sometimes cause an error.
