Common Transactional Shipping Charges
All automatic and manual charges in 3PL Warehouse Manager are set up for each customer through the Billing Wizard in the Customers module. If you don't know where to start when it comes to invoicing your customers for shipping their products, we've captured the most common billing charges associated with shipping.
Charges for order processing are typically broken down into three main categories:
- Flat order processing fees. These are baseline fees used for order processing.
- Item-based handling fees. These are meant to charge for the labor used in handling items, which could be charged by pallet, carton, piece, CuFt, or any other desired UOM.
- Freight fees. These fees represent the shipping costs of an order and can be charged based on cost, plus an optional markup.
Use the articles on your left to learn more about the common charges associated with each type of shipping fee.
