Connection guidelines

Before you can start shipping orders through GLS, you must first connect your GLS account to the Small Parcel Suite from the Small Parcel Settings page. Please note that if you connect a customer’s GLS account to the Small Parcel Suite, you cannot use your primary warehouse account for that customer when shipping with GLS.

  1. Navigate to the Small Parcel space, then select Settings and select a customer from the drop-down menu.
  2. Click Create in the Carrier Accounts section.
  3. Specify whether you are setting up a 'Warehouse Account' or ‘Customer Account’using the drop-down menus.
  4. Select the relevant warehouse or customer, choose GLS US from the carrier drop down and ShipEngine from the provider dropdown, then click Next.
  5. Fill out each of the fields in the connection screen with the required credentials. Once all fields have been filled in, click on Authorize with GLS. If all credentials are valid, your GLS account will now be connected to Small Parcel Suite and you can begin printing labels for GLS.
