Parcel Tracking in Small Parcel Suite

| July 08, 2026

Parcel Tracking is currently available as an Open Beta feature. While the core functionality is production-ready, we’ll continue expanding provider support and refining carrier status mappings throughout the beta period.

Parcel Tracking provides visibility into shipments created in the Small Parcel Suite after a shipping label has been generated. It allows you to monitor shipment progress using normalized tracking statuses, regardless of the underlying carrier.

Supported shipping providers

Parcel Tracking is currently supported for shipments created through the following shipping providers:

  • ShipEngine
  • EasyPost
  • BukuShip

Coming Soon

  • iDrive Logistics

Not Supported

  • Pitney Bowes

How Parcel Tracking works

Once a shipping label is generated, Small Parcel Suite automatically retrieves tracking updates and displays the shipment’s latest normalized status. Tracking information is typically updated in near real time as new events are received from the shipping provider and carrier. Actual update frequency depends on when tracking events are made available by the provider and carrier.

Parcel Tracking operates at the package level, allowing you to monitor each package independently—including shipments containing multiple packages. This provides visibility into the status of every package rather than only the overall order.

Search & filters

Use the search panel to quickly locate shipments by:

  • Tracking Number
  • Transaction Number
  • Transaction Reference Number

Filter shipments using:

  • Actual Delivery Date
  • Estimated Delivery Date
  • Small Parcel Ship Date
  • Tracking Status
  • Customer
  • Warehouse
  • Carrier
  • Service

Shipment details

Selecting a shipment displays additional information to help investigate delivery issues and answer customer questions, including:

Carrier tracking details – View the carrier’s native tracking status code and description, shipment destination, or open the shipment directly on the carrier’s tracking page for additional information.

Package contents – View the SKUs and quantities contained within each package, making it easy to determine exactly what needs to be reshipped if a package is lost, damaged, or otherwise cannot be delivered.

Extensiv statuses

Parcel Tracking normalizes carrier-specific tracking events into a consistent set of statuses, providing a consistent tracking experience across multiple carriers.

The available normalized statuses are:

Status

Description

Not Yet in System

A label has been created, but the carrier has not yet received or scanned the shipment.

Accepted

The carrier has accepted the shipment into its network.

In Transit

The shipment is moving through the carrier’s network toward its destination.

Delivered

The shipment has been successfully delivered.

Exception

The shipment has encountered an issue preventing normal delivery, such as an invalid address, refused delivery, return to sender, or held for pickup.

Unknown

Tracking information is unavailable or cannot be mapped to one of the supported normalized statuses.
