Understanding How Extensiv Supports TikTok’s Shipping and Fulfillment Process

|How to Get TikTok Orders Into Extensiv
There are two Extensiv‑recommended ways to ingest TikTok orders into Extensiv’s 3PL Warehouse Manager:
- Use our direct TikTok Shop integration with Integration Management. See our article on Setting Up TikTok.
- Connect TikTok to Shopify and then use Extensiv’s Shopify integration with Integration Management.
Important Notes
To generate a shipping label for a TikTok order, TikTok requires the following data to be sent in the API request:
- tiktok_OrderId
- tiktok_ShopId
- tiktok_LineItemIds
Extensiv’s direct TikTok connection through Integration Management automatically pulls all these required fields from TikTok.
If you're using the Shopify option, note that the TikTok–Shopify integration only passes the TikTok Order ID to Shopify. 3PL Warehouse Manager and Small Parcel Suite can fill in the missing TikTok Shop ID and TikTok Line Item IDs as long as your customer has only one TikTok Shop. If your customer has more than one TikTok Shop, you must use the direct TikTok connection via Integration Management,
3PL Warehouse Manager’s legacy Shopify connection does not pull any of the TikTok order data required to generate a shipping label. If you are currently using the legacy Shopify connection to fulfill TikTok orders, you will need to migrate to one of the two recommended options above.
How 3PL Warehouse Manager with Small Parcel Suite Supports Seamless TikTok Fulfillment
Setting Up TikTok Shop as a Carrier in Small Parcel Suite
Please review this article to learn how to connect TikTok in Small Parcel Suite.
Order Creation
- When Integration Management sends a TikTok order to 3PL Warehouse Manager, it attaches the TikTok order data to the order as saved elements.
- If the order includes a saved element named “tiktok_OrderId”, Extensiv automatically sets the carrier to TikTok Shop, indicating that the order must be shipped via TikTok.
- If the order also includes the “tiktok_ShopId” saved element, Extensiv automatically assigns the corresponding TikTok Shop carrier account.
Setting to Force TikTok Fulfillment
In Small Parcel Suite settings, you can enable a setting that enforces all TikTok orders for a given customer to be fulfilled using TikTok Shipping.
- When enabled, Small Parcel Suite will:
- Filter out all non‑TikTok carrier accounts from rate‑shopping results.
- Prevent the generation of non‑TikTok labels for any order containing a “tiktok_OrderId” saved element.
- When disabled, TikTok orders will not be restricted and will be treated like any other order.
Rate Shopping
- If an order contains a tiktok_OrderId, Small Parcel Suite will filter out all non‑TikTok rates. Other connected carriers cannot be selected.
- If the order has a TikTok Shop carrier account assigned, rates will be pulled from that specific TikTok Shop.
- If no TikTok Shop carrier account is assigned, Small Parcel Suite will default to the oldest connected customer TikTok account.
Generating a Label
When requesting a label, you can:
- Select a specific TikTok carrier service (via rate shopping or otherwise).
- Or leave the carrier service unspecified and let TikTok select the cheapest SLA‑compliant option.
If a TikTok Shop is specified in the carrier account field, Small Parcel Suite will use that account to generate a label. If not, it will default to the oldest connected customer TikTok account.
- TikTok will reject any label request that uses an invalid TikTok Shop for the order.
- TikTok does not support ZPL labels, so all TikTok orders must use PDF labels.
